Membership Terms and Conditions

If you would like to cancel your Premier Fitness membership at the end of the current month, please put this in writing to info@elsc.london by the 21st of the month.

1. FSSM Ltd (Eric Liddell Sports Centre)

1.1 FSSM Ltd is a company limited by guarantee.

1.2 It is registered in England and Wales. Its registered office address is C/O Bursars Office, Eltham College, Grove Park Road, London, SE9 4QF. Company registration number: 03113910. VAT registration number: 690723227.

2. Application of Terms and Conditions

2.1 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all members of FSSM Ltd trading as Eric Liddell Sports Centre.

3. Acceptance of Membership

3.1 An individual wishing to become a member shall complete and sign a membership application form.

3.2 Acceptance of any application is at the sole discretion of Eric Liddell Sports Centre. The Centre reserves the right to verify any information provided. Fraudulent or incorrect information may result in cancellation of membership and repayment of all monies due.

3.3 Membership shall commence upon receipt of the appropriate membership fee.

3.4 A membership card will be issued to all members and remains the property of Eric Liddell Sports Centre. Cards must be shown on entry and may only be used by the registered member. Fraudulent use may result in immediate cancellation without refund. Replacement cards may incur a charge.

3.5 Acceptance of membership constitutes a legally binding agreement between the member and Eric Liddell Sports Centre. Members agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all facility rules and regulations in force at the time.

4. Cancellation of Membership

4.1 Members may cancel within fourteen (14) days of signing the membership application form by writing to Eric Liddell Sports Centre. A refund will be issued less a pro rata amount for days used. Administration fees are non-refundable. If rejoining after cancellation, an administration fee may apply.

4.2 If written notice is received by the 21st of the month, membership will end at the end of that month, subject to any minimum term.

4.3 If notice is received after the 21st, the following month's direct debit will be collected and membership will terminate at the end of that month. If payment fails, membership will be frozen until outstanding fees are paid.

5. Membership Categories

5.1 All categories are subject to these Terms and Conditions and facility rules.

5.2 Junior members must transfer to an appropriate membership product on their 16th birthday. Benefits applicable to under 16s will not continue beyond this date.

5.3 Members must notify the Centre of any changes to their contact details, including email address.

5.4 The Centre reserves the right to recover unpaid fees through internal or external agencies and may charge administration fees and interest on late payments.

5.5 Memberships cannot be cancelled during a specified minimum term.

6. Initial Fee and Monthly Membership Charges

6.1 Membership fees are payable regardless of facility usage and are non-refundable.

6.2 If joining more than 8 days before month end, a pro rata payment is required with direct debit starting on the first day of the following month. If joining within 8 days of month end, the remaining month plus the full following month will be payable.

6.3 Monthly payments are collected by direct debit in advance.

6.4 Partner and group memberships must be paid from one bank account under a single direct debit mandate.

6.5 Prices may be reviewed periodically. Members will receive at least 10 working days notice of any changes.

7. Suspension of Membership

7.1 Suspension is at the discretion of the Centre.

7.2 Advanced members may suspend for a minimum of one month and maximum of three months. Monthly direct debit members may suspend for one to six months. Suspensions must be full calendar months.

7.3 Requests must be emailed by the 21st of the month prior to suspension. A freeze fee is payable in advance.

7.4 Medical suspensions require written evidence and are subject to approval.

7.5 Flexible payment terms may be offered at the Centre's discretion.

8. Expulsion or Termination by the Centre

8.1 Membership may be terminated without notice if:

- Conduct is deemed injurious to the character or interests of the Centre or its members.

- There is a breach of Terms and Conditions or facility rules.

- Fees remain unpaid five (5) days after the due date.

8.2 Terminated members forfeit all membership privileges without entitlement to refund.

9. Changes to Membership Categories

9.1 The Centre will provide at least one month's written notice of any discontinued membership categories.

10. Changes to Leisure Facilities

10.1 Activities outside a member's category must be paid for separately.

10.2 Activities not cancelled within 48 hours will be charged and membership frozen until payment is made.

10.3 The Centre may make reasonable changes to facilities and activities without notice and is not liable for inconvenience due to maintenance or improvements.

11. Changes to Opening Hours

11.1 Opening hours may be amended at the Centre's discretion. Reasonable notice will be given where possible.

11.2 Planned closures for maintenance will be notified at least fourteen (14) days in advance.

11.3 Emergency closures may occur without notice.

11.4 Peak opening times are Monday to Thursday 6pm to 9pm and Saturday 7am to 12pm.

12. Assignment

12.1 The Centre may assign the benefit of these Terms and Conditions to a third party without notice.

13. Physical Health of Member

13.1 Members confirm they are in good health and capable of exercise.

13.2 Members must ensure they are competent in using equipment. An induction is offered at joining. Members may waive induction and accept responsibility. Staff are available for guidance on new equipment.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 The Centre's obligations are limited to those set out in these Terms and Conditions.

14.2 Members use facilities at their own risk. The Centre is not liable for loss, damage, theft or injury except where caused by negligence.

14.3 The Centre accepts liability without limit for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

15.1 Personal data is stored securely and used for membership administration, access control, service provision, internal administration, and crime prevention including CCTV. Sensitive data such as health information is handled with additional care and not shared outside the organisation except with successor businesses or contracted service providers where necessary.

16. Governing Law

16.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Direct Debit Guarantee

• The Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept Direct Debits.
• You will be notified of any changes to the amount, date or frequency at least 10 working days in advance.
• If an error is made, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund from your bank or building society.
• You may cancel a Direct Debit at any time by contacting your bank or building society. Please also notify the Centre.
